“If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?” – James 2:16
What a beautiful thought it is to live as family, giving freely to one another, providing for one another in every way. This is not only a Biblical account, but can still be realized in our community today. The food pantry of Compassion United provides for various aspects of the ministry. We stock groceries for the JoyHouse, as well as the Freedom House, HOSANNA House, and the food pantry of the Shelter Church that operates every 1st, and 3rd Thursday of each month.
Providing for one another is to truly live in unity, as a community, and as the Body of Christ.
