Providing Clothing. Providing Love.

You can make a difference this winter by taking part in the Compassion United Coatrack.

It is the goal of Compassion United to provide cold weather gear for every homeless man, woman and child in Montgomery County. To do this, we are partnering with area churches and businesses to collect new or gently used coats and cold weather gear (blankets, sleeping bags, hats, gloves, etc.).  These supplies will be distributed to the homeless at our weekly outreach events where we will also supply them with a meal and a dose of God’s love.  If your church or business would like to be a part of this year’s Compassion Coatrack.

Someone's Story

In 2017, Kenny was homeless. He became part of the Compassion United transition program and committed himself to doing whatever was necessary to turn his life around. He took advantage of classes and mentorship programs offered that equipped him for success. In January 2018, Kenny was given an opportunity to work with Consolidated Communications. This opportunity not only provided the financial means necessary to succeed, but also the confidence and the hope that success was possible.
